This machine is used for mounting the specimen in a Bakelite Powder and also to handle properly the specimen during polishing. The unit is of a rugged construction and is activated by a hydraulic press , with a pressure gauge to read the pressure being applied while mounting. The press is to be supplied complete with mould heater and thermostat with 25 mm dia mould assembly..
