Technical Description
Both very large and very
small water contents can be determined with precision by means of the
two-stage process. For the direct determination of high water contents
of x = 0.5 and below the separating calorimeter is used. High vapour
contents between approx. x = 0.95 and x = 1.0 can be determined
indirectly using the throttling calorimeter. The vapour is adiabatically
expanded and transferred to superheated steam. The quality can then be
determined with the aid of the h-s diagram. A supply of mains

Technical Description
The forms a complete steam
power plant with the matched steam generator and the Universal Drive and
Brake Unit. Heat energy is initially converted into mechanical energy
and then into electrical energy by the operating as a dynamometer. The
experimental module contains a steam engine, a condenser and a condenser
tank together with comprehensive instrumentation. The steam engine is
an enclosed two-cylinder machine with 180° crank offset. It is of single
action with plunger pistons. The condensate tank is designed as a
cascaded tank and separates oil from the steam engine. The clean

Technical Description
The specially designed for
technical training in the area of power plant engineering, and power
engines and machines, and as a result offers numerous experiments. An
oil-heated instantaneous boiler generates wet steam, a superheater
provides superheated steam. The turbine is loaded with a generator, the
energy generated is returned to the electricity mains. After the
turbine, the steam is condensed and fed back to the boiler. All relevant
parameters are measured using sensors and transducers and displayed on a
clearly laid out switch panel as measured values. The switch panel

A fuel tank and feed water tank are integrated into the
system to form a self-contained unit. The feed water circuit is equipped

safety requirements and includes the stipulated safety devices. Due to
