to 11110W with a resolution of 1W. Each decade is selected by a rotary
switch. Tapping points are provided across each range to allow the unit
to be used as an accurate potential divider. All resistance values are +

Power Rheostats are made with a variety of resistance & current
carrying capacity so as to satisfy every need. They are wound with
heavily oxidized eureka resistance wire upon a porcelain tube dia 44 mm
aprox. The tube is carrying upon Bakelite rider and the heavy duty
sliding contact is of the phosphor bronze with brass rod. 4 mm socket
terminals are fitted, allowing for rheostat or potentiometer connection.
Total resistance and maximum current capacity is marked on the slider.
Total Permanent current loading should not exceed 75% of the marked
values. The actual resistance of Wire Wound Rheostats shall be +20% -5%
of the rated resistance as per our resistance chart. specification no.

Resistance Box (Plug Type) is of a superior
quality Heavy Brass Metal Blocks Size 7/16" are bound to Bakelite Plate
by means of nuts and screws securing rigid fixation and eliminating any
chance of contact error creeping due to loosening of plugs and lugs
which are cut to fine taper and are interchangeable. Plug heads are
machine moulded, of heavy insulated Bakelite in beautiful shapes. The
boxes are made of Teak-wood and nicely polished. We are renowned as one

care is taken in preparing the wire wound resistance. Selected double
Covered Eureka Wire is wound in Bakelite spools. Sufficient ageing and
