Fundamental of Appliance Trainer

Fundamental of Appliance Trainer

CAT NO: DIDACTICNEE1025

Fundamental of Appliance Trainer Description and Tender Specification:

Fundamental of Appliance Trainer.
The trainer should provide a good background theory on electrical as well as the trouble shooting and repair technique for most of electrical appliances. The experiments should be focused on essential areas within electrical technology that is related to electrical appliances repair.

Courseware:
The trainer should be included with operation manuals and experiment manuals which includes step-by-step chapters with theoretical information and practical student experiments. Each chapter must include student tests with an answer key. The Trainer should cover the following experiment topics:
Using meters for trouble shooting.
The importance of Power Factor.
Basic AC circuits examples.
Electricity and Heat.
Determining the length of Resistance Wire.
Incandescent Lamps.
Fluorescent Lamps.
Starting Methods.
Switches in Lamps.
Servicing Lamps.
Electricity and transmission of Power.
Transformers.
Servicing by Substitution.
Using Test Lamps.
Servicing with Test Instruments.
Voltage Tests.
Open Circuits.
Checking Line Voltages.
Testing Special Circuits.

Modules:
The trainer should consist of several modules which feature electrical and electronic components that are mounted onto high quality boards with the circuit symbols diagram silk-screened onto the surface.  The inter-connections between key components or circuit blocks should be provided through 4 mm color coded sockets and test leads. Panels could be quickly arranged in various configurations so as to conduct many experiments.  Panels should be A4, A5 or A6 in size and should feature the electrical circuit diagram silk-screened into the surface of each panel. This could allow the students to do the wiring quickly and with many variations, so that the learning will become more interesting and effective. A 3 levels mobile stand should be provided for holding the module boards during experimentation and should be completed with power supply connections and necessary accessories for doing the experiments.
