Bifilar/Trifilar Suspension Apparatus- Engineering Lab Training Systems

CAT NO: DIDACTICNLE-Export-058003

Bifilar/Trifilar Suspension Apparatus- Engineering Lab Training Systems Description and Tender Specification:

Bifilar Trifilar Suspension Apparatus- Engineering Lab Training Systems.
Features Low cost, effective teaching Self-contained Wall mounted Determination of moment of inertia Radius of gyration for bar, ring and cylinder Three year warranty   Range of experiments To determine experimentally the moment of inertia and radius of gyration of a rectangular bar, ring and cylinder. Comparison with theoretical results   Description A cast iron wall bracket supports wire cables for a bifilar or trifilar suspension system. No drill chucks or cumbersome fixing devices are used, so that calculations are straight forward. The moment of inertia and radius of gyration of a heavy body can be found by timing its oscillation. A stopwatch and rule are supplied. Three bodies are provided; rectangular bar, ring and cylinder. This equipment is part of a range designed to both demonstrate and experimentally confirm basic engineering principles. Great care has been given to each item so as to provide wide experimental scope without unduly complicating or compromising the design. Each piece of apparatus is self-contained and compact. Setting up time is minimal, and all measurements are made with the simplest possible instrumentation, so that the student involvement is purely with the engineering principles being taught.
