Pressure Drop Through Packed Bed

Pressure drop across packed bed can be measured by a manometer. The apparatus is close circuit type provided with tank, Pump, necessary piping, valves and Rotameter to measure the flow rate of fluid. The set-up is fitted on a MS frame and painted with good quality corrosion resistant paint.

EXPERIMENTATION:                

study relationship between velocity of fluid and pressure drop per unit acked length.

Manometric Fluid : 250 ml.
