Cam Analysis Machine Description:This equipment is designed to study cam and follower system & plot the cam profile using angular scale and dial gauge. The setup consists of set of 3 cams & followers. Each cam & follower can be easily mounted on the motor shaft. In order to draw the cam profile, a dial gauge is provided to measure the displacement. By using an optional stroboscope, cam jump phenomenon can be visualized. Experimental Capabilities: • To plot cam profile• To study cam jump & effects of springs & follower weight on jump speed• Cam jump can be observed by using a stroboscope.
