The experimental set up enables the student to investigate two processes: silicon-iron-anode with external current source and sacrificial anode with electrostatic potential monitoring unit (containing a reference anode). The demonstration panel includes a closed container with a transparent cover, in which an underground pipe course is simulated. An insulated steel pipe serves as test object. The current source and the two anodes are carefully connected to the pipe. The demonstration panel is designed for the use with Universal Stand for Training Panels, but can as well fixed on a wall.
