Description & Specification:

ELECTRONIC DIFFRACTION This system for studying electronic diffraction enables to.
verify De Broglie hypothesis and to state the dual nature of an
electron (as particle or as wave).
Furthermore the interatomic distance of carbon can be
calculated.
The electronic diffraction tube emits a narrow convergent
beam of electrons from a cathode treated with oxides and
heated indirectly. The internal surface of tube end is provided
with a luminescent screen. A nickel micro-mesh grid, onto
which graphite has been deposited, is placed at the outlet of
the electron gun.
As soon as the electron gun enters this target of carbon,
electrons are diffracted into two rings corresponding to the
separation of carbon atoms.
