You will notice the rodless cylinder at the top that carries the vacuum cup, the double rod cylinder as well as the twin rod cylinder. All components are industrial standard from SMC. The text lab manual walks students through the fundamentals of pneumatics and pneumatic circuits. Electrical control is taught using a variety of Solenoid valves. These solenoid valves may be actuated by on board switches or by using a PLC. This system is suitcase mounted and totally self contained.
