ANGULAR SPEED PROCESS WITH
AMPLIFIER FOR ACTUATOR AND SIGNAL
CONDITIONER FOR GENERATOR
The system  has been designed and
manufactured with industrial criteria and components to be the
instrument necessary to the exhaustive study of an angular
speed control of DC motor with PLC. It consists of the following
elements:
• Process unit
• Module with amplifier for actuator and
signal conditioner for tachogenerator
On the whole, the system  can be used for
regulations with PLC type PID, PID Self Tuning. In this way, it is
possible to compare the performances of the different control
approaches.
TRAINING PROGRAM
The system  enables the theoretical analysis
and the experiments on the following main exercises:
• Detection of the characteristic curve of the transducer +
signal conditioner units
• Determination of the linearity of the transducer + signal
conditioner units
• Determination of the response delay of the transducer -
signal conditioner
• Analysis of the actions: ON/OFF, Hysteretical, Proportional,
Integrative and Derivative carried out by the PLC
• Controller set-up according to the response at the maximum
stability
• Response detection of closed-loop processes with ON/OFF control
• Response detection of closed-loop processes with P, P+l,
P+D, P+l+D and FUZZY controls
• Permanent state error detection of the processes, according
to the used control
• Transient state behavior detection of the processes according
to the time constants of the control program
